Reorganization of DUQUEINE Automotive, departure of Yann Belhomme
After six years mainly devoted to the development of the DUQUEINE Engineering team and DUQUEINE Automotive, Yann BELHOMME leaves the structure.
Born in 2014 on the initiative of Gilles DUQUEINE, Yann BELHOMME ensured the creation of the team. From his debut in France GT championship in 2014 to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2019, Yann Belhomme has managed to lead the team to the elite of the world car endurance.
This last season has marked the history of the team with its first participation in the Le Mans double clock tower in the LMP2 category. Equipped with a cutting-edge crew, the team will have made an impression by occupying a third place for several hours despite a flat tyre having occurred at the start of the race.
"I enjoyed my six years spent with DUQUEINE Engineering. I was keen to develop a successful team. Bringing together skills around competition and sport values is incredible. Thank you to the whole team and to Gilles DUQUEINE for these wonderful experiences. I look forward to a new challenge and wish the team the best for the future. "
"Yann has enabled DUQUEINE Engineering to develop itself to the excellence of world motorsport. His commitment to the group has always been exemplary and his passion for the team has never wavered. I sincerely want to thank Yann for all his contribution and I wish him much success in the next stage of his career. "
